Fluxo Sem Fonte (2025)

During this residency I developed my research interest on climate, generational knowledge, and data. It explores how we come to know water through different forms of data, memory and ecological sensing. 

Drawing on ten days of marine data from the port cities of Porto Alegre and Liverpool, the work transforms temperature, salinity and other environmental measurements into an abstract digital seascape. Alongside these scientific records are fragments of generational weather knowledge, local observations of wind, clouds and rain that are carried through memory rather than machines.

Bringing scientific, experiential and ecological forms of knowledge into the same space, the work reflects on their power dynamic --  what becomes measurable, what becomes knowledge, and what is left unseen.
